One minute fat loss workouts

You know I love it when further research comes out to reinforce the benefits of really short workouts!

According to Ph.D exercise scientist Martin Gibala and his new book “The One-Minute Workout“, short workouts really are more effective at burning fat and improving your cardio.

If you have been following me for a while then you know that I love my 4 minute circuits:

Here’s no. 13 from my 50 Kettlebell Circuits

  • Half Get Up – Left x 30 secs
  • Half Get Up – Right x 30 secs
  • Two Handed Swing x 60 secs
  • Slingshot x 30 secs
  • Goblet Squat x 60 secs
  • Halo x 30 secs

Here’s the Two Handed Kettlebell Swing:

And no. 18 for my 37 Core / Abs Workouts

  • Hip Openers x 60 secs
  • Dead Bugs x 60 secs
  • Bird Dog with Rotation – Left x 60 secs
  • Bird Dog with Rotation – Right x 60 secs

  • Alternating Swing x 60 secs

Short workouts are so much kinder on your body especially as you get older and will provide enough of a stimulus to remove fat and improve your cardio.

      Hi Greg, Thanks for all the great information! I lost 40 lbs about 2 years ago doing a weight loss program and taking supplements and weight loss pills . I liked
      the results but never felt good about having to take something to maintain the weight loss. I eat pretty healthy and but have gotten lazy over the pandemic and also have a knee injury that is healed but can cause me pain if try and do too much. I have the desire to lose the weight i have gained back and do it the the healthy way with exercise and proper eating. Any suggestions for diet plan to help with weight loss and workout that i wont hurt my knees. Thanks for your help Jennifer Guttu
