Good warm up for your KB circuit dvd. Thanks.
Great warm up, easy to follow and you do inspire and engage so well in your videos! I did say out loud to you at one point, dont fall in the pool! Made me laugh at myself.
Thanks for a good and simple warm up. And your positive attitude.
Yours is the only email I keep active in my inbox.
I am 80 yrs. old!
JIM
I was wondering about the palm trees and thinking you were in the UK.
Portugal explains it!
How long have you been there. I’m thinking quite some time?
I love your site and exercises, they brought me back to full function after my double knee replacement.
Thanks, JIM
Thanks Jim, yes this was filmed in Portugal but I live in the UK 🙂
I’m almost 70. I do your workouts from the app 3 – 4 times a week. I’ve been looking for a good warm up. This looks great! Thank You Greg!
i’m 64yrs old, i started doing this 5min full body warm up before my kettlebell exercise, i’m using 15.5llbs KB, following some of your KB exercise like, 1-2 arm swing, KB clean & press, halo etc.. i really am thankful to your good advices.

Thank you. Excellent warmup to do and remember.
That’s great ! It’s almost exactly the same as our Tai Chi warm up .
Awesome
I ordered your women’s 12 week program last November…i am finally starting it today! Very excited!
Hi Greg,
So much useful information in your videos. Love working with kettlebells and now I have the perfect warmup too!
Really appreciate your work.
Thanks!
Oh great, I just started with very basic bodyweight excersises, forward lunges, squats and push-ups. But I’m a gardener with old injuries so I don’t have real restdays, causing a lot of stiffness and muscle soreness. I will definitely add this as a daily routine. Thanks for sharing.
Great warm up Greg. We do all these in my senior Kettlebell class. Thanks. Katie
Hi Greg,
This is a great warm up, i can use this everytime before i work out not only with my kettlebell but also with my other weight lifting routines.
More power to you
Thanks a lot!
Thanks for sharing, always good to see others warm ups for reassurance and new ideas!
Great warm up Greg. Just like to add that with the side to side swing I would recommend to release the ankle on the opposite side to prevent twisting the lower back too much. What do yo think?
The wrists I tend to let my clients do in a figure 8 (brain gym at the same time!) and I add the shoulder touches: arms extended from the side, first palm up and touch shoulders by flexing elbows, then palms down and touch shoulders as well. So while flexing the palms do not supinate/pronate.
Love your work, you’re my go-to when I need some ideas, THANKS!
Patty
Yes most definitely Patty, you will want to pivot at the ankle when performing lateral swings.
Hi Greg
Great warm up thank you so much
Thanks for this warm-up video! I think it’ll help my mobility tremendously. I had been doing so well with the 21-day swing, moving up from a 15# to a 20# kettlebell, when a little over two months ago I developed joint effusion in my knee (aka “water on the knee”). I was very careful of my swing form, so I don’t think my doing swings is what caused this, but rather it was an unfortunate coincidence. While it’s still uncomfortable, I have almost all the mobility back, so I was thinking to gently start over with the 15#. I think this warm-up will set me out on the right foot (knee?).
PS – I did consult my physician. 🙂
Should try it for everyday morning workout
Hi Greg,
I’m fairly new to your videos, very much enjoying them. Thank you!
Great, thanks for the feedback Renee.
Thank you very much for this warm-up-video. I always wanted to ask what kind of warm-up to do, now I know.
Thanks Daniela, enjoy 🙂
Really enjoy your workouts.
Thanks Greg. Your warm up routine has become a regular feature of my pre kettlebell workout. It is great and helps prevent injury .
Sounds good, thanks Gordon.
