Old Greek Exercise Method That Never Lets You Down

Old Greek Exercise Method

Recently I was reminded by one of my subscribers of an old story:

A warrior (Milo) said that he could lift a bull over his head. Everybody laughed and so he bought a new born calf. Every day he raised the calf over his head. As the calf grew so he got stronger. Eventually he could raise a bull over his head and nobody laughed any more.

Too many people when they first start exercising try to lift the Bull.

Always start with the calf…

The body needs time to adjust and grow. It’s not just your muscles that need time to get stronger but your tendons and ligaments too.

Not forgetting those all important small stabiliser muscles and adaptations to your nervous system as well.

Progression is at the heart of every good exercise program.

10 Kettlebell Swings today could be 11 tomorrow or 15 next week!

Small steps is all it takes to get some truly amazing results.

So whether you are using one of my workout programs or not just think about how you are progressing day-on-day.

Little and often will lead to great success.
